Booking Terms & Conditions Dunas Douradas Beach Club
IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ OUR BOOKING POLICY CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING OR SIGNING UP AND BOOKING ON OUR WEBSITE YOU ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR AGREEMENT AND THAT YOUR BOOKING WITH DUNAS DOURADAS BEACH CLUB COMPLIES WITH THIS POLICY.
Booking
Card payment for bookings will be taken 24h after booking, allowing customers to cancel if necessary. For bookings made on or before October 31st no payment is taken until November 1st. Before Nov 1 all bookings are unconfirmed. After first payment is taken on 1st of November all bookings will be confirmed.
Payment schedule for all rental properties follows this schema:
- November 1st - Payment card is charged 10% of total cost of booking. 3 months before stay - Payment card is charged 40% of total cost of booking (remainder). 6 weeks before stay - Payment card is charged 50% of total cost of booking (remainder).
Payment schedule for services
For pre-ordered services or products payment is taken on check-in. In case of cancellation or no-show no charge will be made. For products or services ordered during stay charges are made concurrently.
Payment failure
If payment failure occurs, for whatever reason, an e-mail will be sent to the customer with a warning. The customer is encouraged to resolve payment error if possible, as payment will be attempted again after 24hrs. If payment fails again another e-mail is sent to the customer and to the Dunas Douradas Team flagging the transaction for immediate handling by staff. Failure to pay any fees related to your booking could result in a cancellation of the booking. Cancellation due to non-payment will not constitute any right to refunds of fees already paid.
Cancellation, Changes & Refunds policy
Please note, you may cancel a booking within 24hrs of booking or before Nov 1st, the year before your stay (while your booking is still unconfirmed), which ever comes last. Once payment has been made, your stay with us is non-refundable and your booking cannot be cancelled. You may, however, have the option of moving your booking to another time. Please contact us for more information.
Additional products and services
Additional products and services can be cancelled until the day of arrival and are not charged until check-in. Please note that certain products and services are reserved and guaranteed at the time of booking. Please review the terms and conditions for each item during booking as certain items may be non-refundable.
Payment Schedule
After 24hrs, 10% of the booking fee will be charged to your
payment/registered card. Within three (3) months of arrival you will be charged
an additional 40% of the total booking fee and lastly, six (6) weeks before
arrival 50% (the remainder) will be charged to your registered/payment card.

Your Information: Personal Details
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete required information during "sign up" and/or "booking". You further agree to maintain and update your Profile Data as required to keep it accurate, current, and complete. Dunas Douradas Beach Club may terminate your rights to any or all of the site if any information you provide is false, inaccurate or incomplete. You agree that Dunas Douradas Beach Club may store and use the Registration Data you provide (including payment card account information) for use in maintaining your accounts and billing fees to your payment card account.
You are entirely responsible for all activities that occur on or through your Account, and you agree to immediately notify a member of the Dunas Douradas Beach Club Team of any unauthorised use of your Account or any other breach of security. Dunas Douradas Beach Club shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorised use of your Account.
Property Use - Damages and Removal of DDBC Property
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage, caused by the deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to DDBC's property (including rental unit and clubhouse facilities). Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest's credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will however make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without DDBC consent. The charge will be the full replacement value of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests-customer credit / debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.
Prices, Payments and Balances
You agree to pay for all and any of your outstanding payments/ bookings/ balances for products or services purchased or confirmed via the site. You agree that Dunas Douradas Beach Club may charge your payment card as listed in your Account for any outstanding balances, and for any additional amounts (including any taxes and late fees, as applicable) as may be accrued by or in connection with your Account. You are responsible for the timely payment of all fees and for providing Dunas Douradas Beach Club with valid payment card details for payment of all fees. All fees will be billed to the payment card you designate during the registration process. If you want to designate a different payment card or if there is a change in your payment card account status, you must change your payment card account information online at the Account Info section in your Profile on the site. (There may be a temporary disruption of your access to the Service until Dunas Douradas Beach Club can verify the validity of the new payment card account information).
Dunas Douradas Beach Club reserves the right to Change Prices and Availability of Products and Services. Prices and availability of any Products are subject to change at any time. Prices and rental property availability are not guaranteed until the 10% deposit has been received (payment processed 24hrs after the booking is confirmed).
Electronic Signatures and Contracts
Your use of the Dunas Douradas Beach Club website includes the ability to enter into agreements and/or to make purchases electronically. You acknowledge that your electronic submissions constitute your agreement and intent to be bound by and to pay for such agreements and purchases. Your agreement and intent to be bound by electronic submissions applies to all records relating to all transactions you enter into on this site, including notices of cancellation, policies, contracts, and applications.
