For the second year running, Dunas Douradas Beach Club wins at the European Property Awards, this year for "Best Development Europe" - a highly prestigious awards in the property development community.

Dunas Douradas Beach Club were also highly commended in another category for Best Interior Design this year and won last year's competition in the categories of Best Architectural Design and Best Resort Apartments.

As the winner in the 'Best Development' Category in 2010 the resort went on to compete with the winners from across the seven continents for the World's Best Development finishing runner-up.

We were given two awards in the Best Architectural Design and Best Resort Apartment categories in the annual CNBC Awards event in 2009. We are all very proud of these awards and invite anyone to come and experience our wonderful resort for themselves.

Dunas Douradas Beach Club were also highly commended in another category for Best Interior Design this year and won last year's competition in the categories of Best Architectural Design and Best Resort Apartments.

As the winner in the 'Best Development' Category this year however, the resort will go on to compete with the winners from across the seven continents for the World's Best Development. Competing on a global scale will certainly bring on more competition, especially from Asia where the property development area has experienced a boom in recent years. But, says Ougendal "we are hopeful that as the winner in Europe, we will represent these region's developments from their best side".

Since it has opened, the Beach Club has focused on quality.

"With such strong competition, especially from France and Italy this year, it was a great honour to have been singled out as the winner in the overall best development category" said Managing Director, Evy Ougendal.
